The Chronicles of Life and Death is the 3rd studio album by Good Charlotte. The album was released on October 5, 2004. The album was released with two different versions: a "Life" version and a "Death" version which both came with different cover art and a special bonus track.

Ocean Avenue is Yellowcard's debut album for Capitol Records. It is an Enhanced CD that includes a video entitled "The Making of Ocean Avenue" and a previously unreleased video of the song "Powder" (from The Underdog EP).

The Black Parade is the third studio album released in October 2006 by New Jersey rock quintet My Chemical Romance. Like the band's first two albums, it is a concept album, centering on a character known as "the Patient," who takes a journey looking back on his life. The album is produced by Rob Cavallo, who has also produced albums for Green Day. It was intentionally leaked in its entirety on October 19, 2006. In an interview with MTV, the band said that the name "The Black Parade" was chosen because "black" symbolized death and "parade" symbolized celebration. It debuted at number two on the UK album chart, and number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, losing the top spot to Disney's Hannah Montana Soundtrack. In its first week, The Black Parade sold 240,000 copies, far surpassing the 38,000 in best week sales of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, the band's previous album. It was certified Platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA in late February 2007. The album debuted at number three on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and was certified Gold after shipping more than 35,000 copies. It debuted atop the charts in New Zealand and was certified Platinum there, with shipments of more than 15,000. It started off at number 2 in the UK with 86,000 copies sold in its first week, and has since recieved a Platinum certfication, selling 313,000 units in total.
