Underworld: Evolution is a 2006 action/horror film, directed by Len Wiseman. It is a sequel to the 2003 film Underworld, and follows on from the plot of the first film, continuing the conflict between vampires and Lycans, also highlighting the beginnings of the feud.

Just recently LP Underground 6.0 was announced. Seemingly as soon as it was announced the CD was leaked over the internet. The CD includes a studio demo version of "Qwerty" (which may have been recorded to compromise for it not appearing on the upcoming album) and a new instrumental song called "Announcement Service Public". In it Chester Bennington's vocals are reversed. Chester can be heard saying "You Should Brush Your Teeth And You Should Wash Your Hands." when the track is played in reverse.

Black Holes and Revelations is the fourth studio album by English rock band Muse. It was released in various countries in early July 2006. The name "Black Holes and Revelations" is explained by Bellamy in his September 2006 interview for Q magazine: "Black holes and revelations -- they're the two areas of songwriting for me that make up the majority of this album. A revelation about yourself, something personal, something genuine of an everyday nature that maybe people can relate to. Then the black holes are these songs that are from the more... unknown regions of the imagination." The album's title is also cited in the lyrics of the second track and single "Starlight."

Absolution is the third studio album by English rock band Muse. It was released on September 29, 2003 in the UK and almost six months later on March 23, 2004 in the U.S. by Taste Music Limited. The album yielded the band its first big American hit in "Time Is Running Out". Unlike previous albums, the recording and release of Absolution was not subject to constraining schedules, allowing the band to take as much time as they felt necessary to refine and alter their songs. The album debuted at No. 1 in the UK charts, and soon after, reached No. 1 in French charts. Within weeks of release it reached the top 5 in twelve countries, the top 10 in fifteen countries and the top 20 in twenty countries. The album reached #107 in the United States. Due to the long delay between the UK version and U.S. version releases, Absolution remained popular in charts for an unusually long time, and saw the release of 5 singles (and 1 charity special download "Apocalypse Please").

X&Y is the third album by English rock band Coldplay, released in England on June 6, 2005 and in North America on June 7. Preceded by the successful single "Speed of Sound", which peaked at #2 in the UK and #8 in the U.S., the album debuted at the top of the UK album chart, moving 464,471 units in its first week, a success which put X&Y second in overall first week sales behind Be Here Now Oasis' third and their most eagerly awaited album. However X&Y became Coldplay's first U.S. chart-topper, selling 737,000 units in its first week of release. X&Y was the best-selling album worldwide in 2005, according to the IFPI; it shifted 8.3 million units during the year.

The Open Door is an album released by American rock band Evanescence; their second studio release. It was released on September 25, 2006 in Poland, September 27, 2006 in Japan, 29 September in Ireland, September 30, 2006 in Australia and Italy and was released on October 2, 2006 in the remaining parts of Europe, October 3, 2006 in North America, and on October 4, 2006 in Argentina.
The digital album which was available for pre-order as of August 15, 2006 from iTunes and Walmart.com contained an interview with Amy Lee and a bonus track, "The Last Song I'm Wasting on You" if ordered prior to its street release date of October 3, 2006.
