The Open Door is an album released by American rock band Evanescence; their second studio release. It was released on September 25, 2006 in Poland, September 27, 2006 in Japan, 29 September in Ireland, September 30, 2006 in Australia and Italy and was released on October 2, 2006 in the remaining parts of Europe, October 3, 2006 in North America, and on October 4, 2006 in Argentina.The digital album which was available for pre-order as of August 15, 2006 from iTunes and Walmart.com contained an interview with Amy Lee and a bonus track, "The Last Song I'm Wasting on You" if ordered prior to its street release date of October 3, 2006.
